Whadaya doin'?
CBS and KLLI have decided to make a run at it on their own sans, "The Russ Martin Show". I admire their ambition and enthusiasm. I applaud their efforts and pray for the fruition of their goals.
J.D., Dan, Clo, Trey and I will proceed on our separate passages and crusades, never maintaining contact with one another, and will live in abject obscurity for the balance of our lives.
Or...we'll be back on the air soon.
Over the decade, listeners have often referred to The RMS as their friends...their family. I have always been much obliged for that.
For the supporters of the show, I hope there is no anguish, no sorrow. For don't think of us as having left you. Just think of us as having fallen out of the treehouse and died.
I'm at peace now with my Creator. I find great comfort in reciting Biblical prose. In fact, there's a passage I got memorized, sort of fits this occasion: Ezekiel 25:17...
