Russ was pulled over after the White Trash Party in 1999 on suspicion of DWI. He was arrested and bailed out by Dan, as J.D. was far too drunk to do so. Russ was found "Not Guilty" of DWI, but was found "Guilty" of "Obstruction of a passageway" and received 3 months probation. Someone told Judge Cofey that Russ was talking about alcohol on the air (which had nothing to do with his probation) and they extended his probationary sentence to a full year. Using his amazing super-powers (anyone else remember "The Brown Hornet"?), Russ naturally escaped unharmed. In other words, Russ crawled up his ass every day on the air until Judge Cofey agreed to call everything even, donate $250 to Operation Kindness, and pose with the RMS as a pimp, becoming "PimpDaddy Cofey".
