"Happy The Clown" was a man by the name of Melvin Hall, who died in a fire at his trailor home in southeast Dallas County, near Balch Springs. It must have been the fact that he went by the name "Happy The Clown", or that he his Boston Terrier was named, "Dog." Yet something caused them to absolutly lose it each time it was mentioned. One day Russ had decided to do a eulogy for "Happy The Clown.
This is also explain why you will hear laughter anytime Russ plays a snippet of the pipe organ version of Amazing Grace.
