Dusty Hayes is the program director for Austin's FM Talk Station, 104.3 "The Coyote." From the begining, Dusty hasn't been the smartest program director, one only has to look at the name he chose for the station as proof of that. Gavin did his best to convince Dusty that he should name the station Live! 104.3, since it's a proven winner, at least in Dallas. However, Dusty decided that he was going to chose "The Coyote," and go with the call letters, KOYT. Go ahead, say that outloud. Kay O White Tee. That's right, Dusty is doing everything he can to piss off the people who used to listen to that radio station.
Further evidence of this dim witted nature was made clear on his first meeting with Gavin and Russ. The two of them flew down to Austin to meet with him. The entire time he was talking about how he managed people, and how much Russ was going to love Austin. He went so far as to get Russ a subscription to the daily paper down there, so he could keep up with local events. He even has dreams of Russ doing a remote broadcast down there some day.
The show was removed from the Austin market on 01/11/2005.

After many weeks of frustration, I gave up on the live Twitter feed here on the side of the site. Some days it would work, others it wouldn't.
So, if you want to follow me on Twitter, you'll have to do so by following me @donsierra.
