Rich Berra was brought on the Eagle Morning show at the height of the ratings. They think that Rich was told to get everyone on his side, and they would push Russ out, as he was starting to get to much power. Thus, Rich began his quest. Started making changes to the show, even once cut a promo that said, "The Rich and Russ Show!" That, of course, was one of the things that started to turn people against him. Up until that point he had started to get Dan on his side, and for a short time, Everett and Valerie. As people started to turn against him, things started to go downhill. When Russ left the Eagle in March of 2000, Rich took over mornings, and lasted all of 4 months or so. So that, my friends, is why Russ and crew doesn't like Rich Berra.
