Where

Where did the "Pop you in the Pooper" song come from?

Monday, 04 October 2010 08:57

Back when the show was on another station, the guys received a CD from someone who wanted their new album to be heard. Took them about 5 seconds into the song to realize something wasn't right.

That's when they learned the song is by Jeff Stryker, who works in the adult entertainment industry. From then on out, the song would get random airplay from time to time.

After the move to KEGL, Russ did a mix of the song with DF Dub song, Country Girl. From time to time you will hear it as a bumper going into a break.

Where can I listen to the 09/11/01 show?

Thursday, 14 September 2006 07:44 Last Updated on Sunday, 03 October 2010 16:03
Sadly, there is no known copy of the September 11, 2001 show. The RussMartin.INFO site did not exist back then, nor was Don Sierra recording the show at the time. Eddie Boyd once mentioned that he put that show aside so that it wouldn't get lost. However, during the move to the new building the CD was lost. If by some odd chance you do have a copy, please let the show know and get a copy to them!

Where did "Hell Yeah!" come from?

Sunday, 09 July 2006 13:22 Last Updated on Sunday, 03 October 2010 16:04

While discussing the Jennifer Wilbanks story, Russ was going on and on about how stupid it was for her to simply run away. Russ popped off with something that JD wholeheartedly agreed with, (what it was is not important,) when JD muttered under his breath, "Hell Yeah" in a very agreeing undertone. This brought the show to it's knees, considering it was said in a very redneck fashion.

On KEGL, Dan O'Malley, has been known to mutter the phrase from time to time.

Don on Twitter?

After many weeks of frustration, I gave up on the live Twitter feed here on the side of the site. Some days it would work, others it wouldn't.

So, if you want to follow me on Twitter, you'll have to do so by following me @donsierra.
